ThermTec introduces the new ARES 660 thermal imaging rifle scope, the first thermal imaging rifle scope with variable optical magnification! It has a 640x512px resolution core with sensitivity <35mk (at 25°C), AMOLED display 1024×768px and high-quality lens with a focal length of 60 mm made of germanium. These parameters ensure a beautifully clear image in harsh environmental conditions such as darkness, fog, smoke, dust, rain, snow, and forest cover. The traditional tube design with a 60 mm lens meets the needs of professional hunters who value tradition and seek technological superiority with an extreme detection range of up to 3000 meters. A wide range of settings allows you to fully adjust the image to perfectly suit your requirements. All this supports your perfect target acquisition when hunting or protecting your property.

Ares features unique non-locking technology that eliminates the annoying regular image freezing typical of thermal imaging, providing a smooth image without disruptive chopping that could compromise accurate targeting. 

Variable optical magnification is what makes this thermal imaging riflescope stand out. This gives it two fields of view that perfectly meet the requirements of hunting at both short and long ranges. The Ares is, of course, equipped with a smooth digital zoom of up to 6x and a function that ensures that the crosshairs always remain in the center of the screen, even if it needs to be moved off-center for aiming. Aiming itself is done manually using the Freeze function, which freezes the image and allows you to conveniently adjust the position of the crosshairs, or automatically, when Ares itself changes the position of the crosshairs based on the heat signature of the bullet impact. 

Ares is equipped with an AI rangefinder that uses artificial intelligence to automatically measure the distance of objects after detecting them. Thanks to advanced technology, it can measure the distance of several targets at the same time.

Another feature is high-quality video recording and photo capture with the option to view them immediately on the device or on your phone by connecting to the Smart Thermal app. Thanks to its built-in microphone, Ares can also start recording automatically after detecting a shot.
